IN NEWER LAPTOPS FROM 2012, YOU MAY HAVE TO GO INTO BIOS AND DISABLE SECURE BOOT AND ENABLE LEGACY/CSM BOOT. It's very simple and easy, takes less than 2 mins.(There are tons of youtube videos that will show you how to do it. Just search enable legacy boot for your laptop model or brand)
