3. Power Safety: Ensure the car stereo power is completely OFF before installation to prevent short circuits or equipment damage. Professional shop installation is recommended if unfamiliar with dash removal.
4. Module Location: The car stereo must usually be unmounted to access the rear ports. On select vehicle models, installation can be completed inside the glove box or trunk where external CD changer wiring is pre-routed.
5. Wiring Diagram Reference: Consult your stereo's top panel wiring label to identify:
   • CD Changer / AUX Port
   • Power Port: B+ / Ub+ / 12V ACC (labeled as BAT, Bup+, B-U, MEM +12, or KL.30)
   • Ground Terminal: GND Port

2.2 Step-by-Step Assembly Instructions

1. Vehicle Preparation: Turn off engine, remove key from ignition. If your head unit requires an anti theft radio code, ensure you have it before unplugging power.
2. Unmount Radio: Safely unmount the factory head unit from dash to access rear connection panels. Locate the CD Changer / RCA input port.
3. Connect Harness: Securely plug the adapter's wiring harness into the back of the stereo. Ensure a firm and complete connection.
4. Power Connections: Connect the RED wire to the 12V ACC / Power terminal (B+, Ub+, BAT, MEM +12). Connect the BLACK wire to the chassis Ground (GND) port.
5. Mode Switch: Turn on ignition and power on the head unit. Press the CD / Disc / Mode / CDC / SOURCE / AUX button once or twice to toggle to external music input mode.
6. Bluetooth Pairing: Open Bluetooth settings on your mobile device. Search for device name "BT5909" and pair. Play music to test sound quality and channel balance.
7. Final Reassembly: Secure all wiring and hide the receiver module inside the glove box or behind the dash cavity. Re-mount the radio unit securely into place.
