The 5015 fan is the "auxiliary component cooling fan" of the P1/X1. Its main task is to provide forced air cooling for the model being formed during high-speed printing. This is crucial for printing materials such as PLA, which require good heat dissipation, effectively preventing model deformation due to insufficient cooling, and is one of the key components ensuring print quality.
Core Specifications and FeaturesThe fan uses the "5015" specification (50mm diameter, 15mm thickness) and a "dual ball bearing" design. Dual ball bearings are a hallmark of high-quality fans, offering a longer lifespan and more stable operation compared to ordinary bearings, especially maintaining more reliable heat dissipation within the high-temperature printer cavity.
Core Usage and Replacement Instructions
If the fan exhibits abnormal noise, vibration, or a significant decrease in airflow, replacement should be considered. Before replacement, always turn off the printer power and unplug the power cord to ensure safety. The fan cable needs to be connected to the designated interface on the motherboard (usually the FAN2 interface). After installation, test the fan's startup and operation through the printer menu.
