The cable delivers improved performance over standard Cat.6 cables and is used in network applications such as 10Base-T, 100Base-T, 1000Base-T, and 10,000Base-T Ethernet up to 100 meters (328 feet).

Cat.6A cables are designed specifically for 10 Gigabit Ethernet applications over copper and perform at high-data transfer rates while operating at a minimum frequency of 500 MHz.

The cable features RJ45 plugs with 50 micron gold plated contacts and is made of pure copper with stranded wire of gauge 24 AWG.

It has a PVC jacket and follows the T568B wiring standard.

The cable is TIA/EIA compliant, RoHS compliant, UL listed, and ETL listed.
