USB devices used inside the PC case have motherboard headers. This cable gives you the opportunity to use any of these accessories via a standard USB port.
This cable is a USB 2.0 Type A male to 9-pin DuPont male DuPont cable. Many USB devices that would otherwise be used for motherboard headers can be connected to standard USB ports.
Note: According to the USB connector standard, only the bottom 5-pin row is connected to the USB connector. Some devices do not follow this guideline and instead connect to the secondary USB connection pins; check your USB header device to make sure it is properly connected to the main bottom 5-pin row.
