Reset SMC to help your laptop to recognize the new battery.

1. Please Remove the old battery. 2. Plug power cable.

3. Press the power button for more than 5 seconds.

4. Ensure the power cable disconnect and Reinstall new battery.

5. Fully charge the new battery.
