WHY BUY IT AS A SETThe 3900X is still a very capable 12-core chip for productivity, streaming and multitasking, and B550 gives you PCIe 4.0 for a fast NVMe drive. Buying CPU, board and a good cooler separately usually costs more than this bundle and leaves you guessing about compatibility - these three are known to work together because they were running together.
