I stumbled upon this New Old Stock two years ago and installed it in a retro build that I'd use every now and then. I have since parted out that build and have this awesome PSU left over looking for a new home.
While many look for the acrylic shelled version of these, the aluminum body is just as rad! Bonus: no EMI and RFI noises!
PSU is in fantastic condition, but do note that it was previously installed so corners may have some rub from case installation.It's super cool with the blacked out aluminum casting for its shell and neon green sleeves and connectors.It features 3 fans, one with 4 blue LEDs. There is also a fan controller on the rear. Definitely nice to fine tune cooling vs noise. I never noticed the fans at 80% most likely because the CPU fan was louder. Haha I'm kidding. The fans are excellent.I jumped the pins to power it on so you can see the blue LEDs in pictures and during that time the fans spun buttery smooth.
The original manual is included, but creased and ruffled. Unfortunately, I did not keep the box.
This was originally released circa 2003 so maybe before the bad cap era, but just be mindful that capacitors do age and breakdown over time sitting in a box. Nevertheless, I had extended gaming sessions playing Morrowind with no issues after my initial build.
