For your consideration is a very clean fully recapped Mac Classic restored to its former glory.
Tested and working great, this one is configured with 4MB ofmemory and a 40MB internal SCSI hard drive loaded with System 6.0.8.
Professionally recapped analog and logic boards. Entire system cleaned and serviced. Sound is loud and clear.
All eight leaking capacitors on the logic board were replaced with high quality solid Tantalum capacitors. Logic board was ultrasonically cleaned.
23 leaking capacitors on the logic board were replaced with high quality, high temp capacitors. The two that remain are CP13 and CP1, these are the 250V caps on the high voltage side and don't normally need replacing.The voltage was successfully adjusted per specs.
You won't have to worry about leaking caps on this one for quite some time.
The CRT is bright, sharp, stable and free of any burn in. New clock battery included. The internal floppy disk drive has been cleaned, lubed and tested to work great. It reads, writes, and ejects without issue. All four rubber feet are present and in good shape.The 40MB internal hard drive is working great.Cosmetically, this Macintosh Classic is in nice vintage condition, there is some uneven yellowing. It was not retrobrighted.The bezel and case have some minor nicks and scratches.No major cracks, chips, pry marks or broken plastics.Listing is for the recapped Mac Classic computer as shown.
