Tested and working great. Configured with 8MB ofmemory and a 40MB hard drive loaded with System 7.1.Complete working Mac SE/30 also includes....
-Apple Extended Keyboard II (M3501)-Coiled connection cable,-Apple trapezoid mouse (A9M0331)-Power cable.Professionally recapped analog and logic board. Entire system cleaned and serviced. Boots with a nice chime and works great!Photo's of our recap work is included in the listing.
All surface mount capacitors on the logic board were replaced with Polymer Tantalum's.The two axial capacitors were replaced as well, and a new battery installed.All problem areas were addressed, repaired, and treated with UV solder mask. The logic board has been ultrasonically cleaned. The analog board has been recapped and solder joints reflowed.All SIMM sockets, including the ROM socket are good, no broken tabs.
Overall,the condition of SE/30 is very nice. The case has the stamped signatures of the design team inside. Not all SE/30's have the signatures. see picThe cabinet is solid, there are no cracks, chips or pry marks whatsoever. Just a small amount of yellowing. It was not retrobrighted.The CRT is bright, sharp, stable and free of any burn in.The internal floppy disk drive has been cleaned, lubed and tested to work great. It reads, writes, and ejects without issue. All four rubber feet are present and in good shape.The 40MB internal hard drive is working great, and the amberactivity light works too.If you're looking for an outstanding SE/30 to modify, or simply display in your collection as an original example, I don't think you'll be disappointed in this one.
