For sale is a newly constructed Xebec SASI interface card used for the series of Apple II Sider Hard Drives/Disks produced by First Class Peripherals. All versions of the Sider hard drives used this interface card (or an earlier version of it), from the original 10MB up through the D4.
This card is an exact duplicate of the original, down to the trace paths and widths. The components are identical to the ones used on the original card, but they are all new. The EPROMs are from a lot I picked up of NOS, they are in excellent condition.
This card will work with either the 50-37 pin internal cable, or the 50-25 pin internal cable -- If you don't have the internal cable, contact me, I will have a separate listing for interface cards with the internal cable.
These cards have been tested with both 25-pin and 37-pin Sider drives with original external drives, as well as being tested with the SCSI2SD card in place of the original Sider external hard drive, and they work identical to the original, and function perfectly.
The only differences in construction between this and the originals is that I socketed all the components so maintenance would be easier, and I used a shrouded 50 pin connector rather than the un-shrouded connector.
