Vintage, For Parts/Not Working This vintage Apple II Plus computer originally worked during our testing, until we noticed a very concerning burning smell and faint white smoke coming from the power supply. We immediately cut power to the machine and uninstalled the power supply; the mainboard is likely undamaged by this but we can make no guarantees. This computer has dual floppy drives and a Kensington system saver fan and power distribution accessory included. Overall this system is fairly clean and is in great cosmetic condition, showing light signs of use commonly found on items of this vintage. The faulty power supply will be included with this computer in case you intend to repair the PSU itself. This computer is offered completely as-is; exact functional status of each component is unknown. See photos for details. This is a vintage item. It is shown to be in the condition described above. The Apple II Plus (stylized as Apple ][+ or apple ][ plus) is the second model of the Apple II series of personal computers produced by Apple Computer. It was sold from June 1979 to December 1982.[1] Approximately 380,000 II Pluses were sold during its four years in production before being replaced by the Apple IIe in January 1983.
