Description:
For sale is a very clean and fully operational Apple Power Macintosh 6500/300, one of the most interesting and desirable Power Macs of the late 1990s.
The top-of-the-line 6500/300 was marketed by Apple as the world’s first 300 MHz personal computer. It combines classic Macintosh expandability with a distinctive tower case, built-in audio system, internal subwoofer, floppy drive, CD-ROM drive, and 100MB Zip drive.
This example is exceptionally clean and has been configured as a ready-to-use classic Mac OS system. It boots into Mac OS 9.1 and includes a spacious-for-the-era 10GB IDE hard drive loaded with numerous games, utilities, and applications.
After Dark 4.94 is also installed, including the classic animated screen savers that many longtime Macintosh users will remember.

CONDITION:
The computer boots successfully into Mac OS 9.1 and operates properly.
The internal 100MB Zip drive and floppy disk drive have both been tested and are working. The built-in sound system / subwoofer are also operational.
The case is exceptionally clean for a computer of this age. Please examine all photographs carefully for the exact cosmetic condition and for everything included with the sale.
As with any vintage computer, the installed software is provided as-is. Due to the age of the hardware, no guarantee of compatibility with modern equipment, networks, monitors, accessories, or newly installed software can be provided.
INSTALLED SOFTWARE:
The 10GB hard drive contains Mac OS 9.1 along with a collection of pre-installed classic Macintosh games, applications, and utilities.
After Dark 4.94 is installed and ready to use.
The installed software collection makes this a great system for classic Macintosh gaming, vintage productivity software, educational programs, experimentation, or display in a retro-computing collection.
