Apple iMac G3 slot-loading DVD-ROM drive (Matsushita SR-8184 mechanism; Apple label reads 'Apple 4X Max Speed DVD-ROM'), complete with its metal carrier cage, the Apple 820-1050-A interconnect board, and the interconnect flex cable — exactly as pictured.
Pulled from a working slot-loading iMac G3 DV (M5521, 400 MHz). The drive mechanism accepts a disc. Please note: disc reading was NOT tested after removal, so reading is not verified — the drive is sold as-is with this disclosure. It is a read-only drive: it does not burn discs.
Included: the complete drive assembly shown (drive, carrier cage, interconnect board, flex cable). No other computer parts are included.
Used condition as shown in the photos, with possible signs of use.
Shipping: Free shipping via USPS Ground Advantage.
