A 8 x 16 core memory plate stores 128 bit of data
The plate is one of 10 plates forming a ferrite core memory cube. The capacity of the whole block is 1280 bit. For more information, the last two photos show the memory cube itself. (The lot does not include a memory cube.)
The board offered for sale was part of the memory cube of the printing device from the Ural-11 computer.
Ferrite field of the board ME-5: 16x8 (2 groups, each 8x8). Very large gaps between rings.
Condition:
Good vintage condition. All ferrite rings are intact. One copper wire is broken.
