Up for sale is a Cudy P5 5G NR & 4G LTE cellular router. For this listing, the four cellular antennas have been replaced with premium 600 MHz - 2700 MHz Cradlepoint 5G-capable antennas. Note: The antennas pictured above are the exact model you may receive. But they may either be black or white color depending on availability.
This unit is in excellent condition and comes with the latest P5 firmware, factory reset, and power adapter.
In addition to the router firmware, the baseband (cellular modem) firmware has also been updated. Most do not even have the ability to do this properly, your unit will have the latest Qualcomm MDM radio code - for the absolute best reception possible.
It's basically the same configuration you'd get from Cudy, without the retail box, and without the hassle of firmware updates... and updates Cudy doesn't even allow typically.
Plus the Cradlepoint antennas will give you the absolute best reception possible!
You need a broadband/data-only plan to use this. I will not help with "tricks" to use this on phone and tablet data plans. It can be activated on all three major carriers - if you get a data-only plan. On Verizon Wireless, you need to activate a Verizon 4G LTE or 5G jetpack (physical hotspot), and move the nano-SIM over, but it will work after you do that.
4G vs 5G Note: AT&T 4G LTE hotspot SIMs will not allow 5G. Verizon and T-Mobile 4G LTE hotspot SIM cards will enable 5G. We recommend getting a cheap AT&T 5G hotspot like a Franklin A50, and then move the SIM over to the Cudy P5.
The Cudy P5 cannot be used with "home internet" plans from the three carriers, you need a mobile broadband / data-only SIM card. LaptopConnect/DataConnect on AT&T, Mobile Internet on T-Mobile, and Jetpack/Hotspot plans on Verizon.
