Training in the ancient Japanese martial art of Kendo centers on the shinai: alightweight-yet-powerful sparring sword made of bamboo. Typing on the nextinstallment in our Expression Series also centers on the Shinai: an enthusiastkeyboard featuring tranquil bamboo aesthetic keycaps and exceptional buildquality. Both begin with a special aluminum ENTR case, which features a greenanodized finish and pad printed bamboo sprout artwork by OSHETART. Within theShinai’s case, an ENTR PCBA is equipped with Holy Panda X Switches and DropPhantom stabilizers for a next-level tactile feel to match its natural style.Completing the Shinai presentation, the Bamboo Keycap Set from our SkylightSeries makes this board even more like its namesake sword, in both appearanceand performance. Hand-assembled in the USA, the Shinai Keyboard is a cutabove—and a slice of our own storied tradition.
