Frequently Asked Questions:

Does this void my warranty with Bambu?
No, Bambu Lab have collaborated with E3D throughout the development of this product and has officially approved the use of these hotends.

What is the maximum printing temperature of Bambu Lab DiamondBack H2 & P2 series Hotend?
These hotends are rated to 350C.

Do I need to make any changes to the slicer profile after upgrading to a DiamondBack Bambu Lab Hotend?
the standard slicer profiles in Bambu Studio work as a starting point when printing with Diamondback HotEnds. However, it may be possible for print performance to be further improved by tuning for your specific filament.

What materials are the HotEnds made from?
The heatsink is aluminium, the heat break is titanium, the body of the hotside is nickel-plated copper and the nozzle tip is PCD.

Important Note

  • Some filled materials contain particles that are close to, if not larger than, some of the smaller industry standard nozzle sizes, including up to 0.4mm. Attempting to print such materials through these nozzle sizes significantly increases the risk of a jam. Please check your filament manufacturer's datasheet for recommended minimum nozzle orifice diameter to ensure that the nozzle/hotend you choose is suitable for your use case.
