The eero (2nd Generation) Mesh Wi-Fi Router (ModelJ010001) is a compact gateway router designed to serve as the foundation of ahome mesh network or to expand an existing setup. Note a common point ofconfusion: while the standard 2nd Gen eero standalone router (J010001) utilizesa dual-band Wi-Fi 5 architecture (delivering speeds up to 350 Mbps across2.4GHz and 5GHz frequencies), it is fully compatible with, and often bundledalongside, the eero Pro (Model B010001), which features the upgraded tri-bandsystem.
