This Card can be used for:
- Fix Corrupted Firmware caused during updates.
- Upgrade from 4,1 to 5,1 to install higher version of macOS
- Solve the EFI PasswordLock. (Alphanumeric, iCloud, 4 pin, 6 pin lock)
- Fix Disabled Mac
- MDM (Remote Management), DEP Profile
(It will NOT remove the operating system password or Hard Drive password)
Do not remove the card. It needs to be connected inside the Mac, otherwise it will read the old firmware and will remain locked.
The chip will come with a serial number or we can program your original S/N into the chip.
Note: Do not use your original S/N if your Mac has MDM or DEP profile.
After installing the EFI Card you will need to install a clean copy of macOS. (Please first ERASE the hard drive using Disk Utility and then reinstall macOS)
100% Permanent. You can sign into your iCloud account and use your laptop like before.
