⚠️ INSTALLATION & CARE NOTICE
USER-INSTALLABLE UPGRADE: While this is a "drop-in" replacement, proper setup is essential for print success.
Magnetic Base Alignment: Ensure the adhesive magnetic base is clean and free of debris before applying the new spring steel sheet. It will self-align, but press firmly from the center outward to eliminate air bubbles.
Z-Offset Re-Calibration: Mandatory. Every build plate has slight variations in thickness. After installing this plate, you must run a full manual/automatic bed leveling procedure and re-adjust your Z-offset. Failure to do so may result in the nozzle gouging your brand new surface.
Cleaning: Only use 70% or higher Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA) to clean the surface. Do not use acetone or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the PEI/PET coatings.
Removal: Always allow the bed to cool to room temperature before attempting to flex the plate for model removal. Removing prints while the bed is hot can permanently stretch the steel or damage the coating.
