Epson Stylus Pro 3880 Large Format Inkjet Printer.
This Epson Stylus Pro 3880 has been stored in a climate controlled building since it was purchased. It has NEVER been removed from the box, except for the photos I took to post it on . As you can see, it is still taped up from the manufacturer. I tried to turn it on to show the print count at zero, but in order to do so I would have had to remove more of the manufacturers packing and allow the print head to adjust to start. I did not want to remove too much of the packing materials so that it can ship to you as safely as possible.
There is no set up ink included. It was not used on this printer, but used with another printer. The ink lines of this printer still have the original shipping fluid from Epson and there should be no clogging of the lines. I had a second unused P3880 I gave to a friend after they had issues buying used 3880's. After set up, they have been using the printer with zero issues and have been producing wonderful digital negatives and prints.
Although this printer has never been used and the same model in the same condition worked for my friend, I cannot guarantee that this printer will work. I do however believe that because it was stored the same and is unused that it should produce the same great results. If I did not believe that, I would not be selling it as new. Again, I cannot guarantee it will work as well as the one I gave a friend.
Upon purchase I am going to add additional packaging around the printer in it's original box and pack that box in a slightly larger box for additional protection so it arrives to you as perfect as it is at the moment. If you would like to come and pick it up instead I am fine with that. I am located in Salt Lake City Utah. The shipping cost of $250 is the estimate that UPS gave me to ship this printer from SLC to NY. If the shipping comes out as less I am happy to Venmo a refund of the difference back to the purchaser.
If you have any questions please feel free to reach out. I am happy to chat more about how this printer was stored and reassure you that it has never been set up or had ink in the lines. These printers are great as long as you take care of them, and will give you great prints and digital negatives for years and years to come. In my company we had about 15 of them running for years. This one was never set up and was stored in a closet since purchase.
Once more, I cannot guarantee with absolute certainty that this printer is going to work. It is being sold as is. I do however believe whole heartedly once you purchase ink, run the setup process, and start to use it, you will have no issues with it like you would a used model that has already had ink in the lines.
