Genuine E3D V6 Heat BreakE3D Heat Breaks are the component where the ColdEnd meets the HotEnd. It has been designed with a thin cylinder void in the middle and is made of either stainless steel or Titanium. They have been engineered to have a minimal transition "phase" for filament to reduce the amount of molten material present. Made from grade 5 titanium, these Heat Breaks are exceptionally strong and have lower thermal conductivity than stainless steel heat breaks, allowing you to keep the cold side of your HotEnd even colder. The increased strength of these breaks means that they are also much less likely to crack or snap, either while hot-tightening or on the occasional collision with printed parts or printer bed.
