Intel 486 DX2-66 SX750 manufactured by IBM 9314 66 Mhz Socket 2 / 3 CPU

This very rare CPU is an Intel 486 DX2-66 manufactured by IBM and is the perfect choice for a DOS / Win95 retro gaming PC.

It is rare because there are not many CPUs around which were manufactured by IBM and are Intel branded. IBM had their own branding using the name "Blue Lightning" for licensed Intel 486 DX2 CPUs. A few CPUs were made by IBM for Intel, even though Intel produced 486 DX2 CPUs in-house in their own fabs.

It is in good condition and was tested with some DOS games like DOOM2 and Monkey Island (tm)

These CPUs run well at 75 or even 80 Mhz, if everything else is right. With "right" I mean to put the CPU into a "happy place" combination of CPU, mainboard, RAM and BIOS settings.
