This is a retail cpu and not the common downclocked engineering sample ( ES variant) sold by a lot of overseas sellers.

- This processor has integrated graphics, you do not need a GPU to display an image
- Make sure you have adequate cooling. Poor cooling can lead to freezing, crashing, and or poor performance
- Please ensure your bios are up to date - bios updates often have stability and compatibility changes. My testing is always done on the latest available bios. If your bios are not up to date, you may run into issues.
- The pads are in reasonably good shape, nothing obviously damaged that would prevent function
- Cpu passed a 1 hour basic stress test in OCCT, Intel's CPU diagnostic tool, and a Cinebench R24 pass without any issues - Check Photos for results
- Processor will come well packaged and cleaned
All my LGA 1200 Processors are tested on an Asus Z590 / MSI Z490 motherboard updated to the latest available bios using Intel's default recommended PL1 / PL2 settings / Failsafes with XMP disabled. Please understand, I cannot test with every possible hardware combination and do not do any overclock testing. It is the buyers responsibility to ensure bios are up to date and the motherboard / ram is compatible with the CPU
If you run into issues, it is almost always bios related or ram related. If you are having trouble getting the processor to post and are sure the bios are up to date, my recommendation is to try basic troubleshooting methods such as:
- Clearing CMOS / Bios settings
- Attempting to boot using 1 stick of ram / different ram to see that changes anything as processors can be picky based on a multitude of factors
**Many higher end LGA 1200 boards often have overclocking features enabled by default. If you have any serious crashing or BSOD issues it is worth double checking to ensure the "intel default" / "intel fail safe" settings are enabled. For asus specifically look to make sure "multi core enhancement" or anything similar OC wise is disabled as this increases PL1 / PL2 settings fairly dramatically. On MSI boards, the "cooler tuning" achieves a similar outcome. The "Boxed cooler" setting is essentially the stock intel profile**
** If you are using a 10th gen CPU in a Z590 / B560 motherboard, most of the time the 1st M.2 slot is reserved for PCIe 4.0 specifically. Since 10th gen does not have PCIe 4.0 support, it will be disabled and will not function (m.2_1) **
