This is a retail cpu and not the common downclocked engineering sample (ES variant) sold by a lot of overseas sellers.
Listing is for processor in protective plastic clamshell- nothing else is included

- Make sure you haveadequate cooling; poor cooling can lead to poor performance, freezing, and crashing
- Please ensure your bios are up to date- All my testing is always done on the latest bios available. Bios updates often contain stability and compatibility updates that can be the difference maker in whether or not the system boots.
- The pads are in relatively good shape, nothing damaged enough that would prevent function
- Cpupasseda 1 hour basic stress test in OCCT, Intel's CPU diagnostic tool, and a Cinebench R24 passwithout any issues- Check Photos for results
- Processor will come well packaged and cleaned
All my LGA 1151 8th & 9th gen Processors are tested on an Asus Z390 motherboard updated to the latest available biosusing Intel's default recommended settings with XMP disabled. Please understand, I cannot test with every possible hardware combination and do not do any overclock testing. It is the buyers responsibility to ensure bios are up to date and the motherboard / ram is compatible with the CPU
If you run into issues, it isalmost always bios related or ram related. If you are having trouble getting the processor to post andare sure the bios are up to date, my recommendation is to try basic troubleshooting methods such as:
- Clearing CMOS / Bios settings
- Attempting to boot using 1 stick of ram / different ram to see that changes anything as processors can be picky based on a multitude of factors
