Let's get this out in the open first, this processor is missing a pin. *HOWEVER* the pin missing is a VSS pin, the Socket 3 processor has around 50 VSS pins which provide power to the CPU, in fact, if you were to use this in a Socket 2 interface, it doesn't even use the outer ring of pins which is where this one is missing from. So in summary, it is missing a pin, that there are 50 of, which is most situations (like testing in our Compaq 425) its not even used and makes up for less than 1% of the total pins that provide power (when including VCC and VSS pins together).
Processor has been tested in our resident 486 machine (Compaq Presario 425) with no issues. Performance was huge cover the resident 486DX2 66Mhz, online some benchmarks show that the PODP5V63 can be up to 2x faster than a DX2 66Mhz.
