The Evolve2 30 is a supra-aural (on-ear) stereo headset, with exceptionally comfortable, cushioned earpads. The underside of the headband is also generously padded, and somehow the entire frame weighs only 4.4 ounces. The earpads provide a notable degree of passive noise isolation, allowing for some peace and quiet while wearing them.

The boom for the dual-mic array can be rotated up and out of your field of vision, and can be placed anywhere from pointing straight up or lowered to chin level. The mic meets Microsoft Open Office requirements, which determine how well it suppresses surrounding environmental noise and office chatter, so it’ll also block out noisy neighbors, roommates, pets, and kids. Internally, the headset employs 28mm drivers.
