A Mini-Physical Interface Module that puts a VDSL2 modem inside a Juniper SRX firewall, removing the separate broadband router from a branch site. It is the Annex A variant, which is the one that matches the copper installations found on UK and most European networks, and it falls back to ADSL/ADSL2/ADSL2+ where VDSL2 is not available. The module connects to the services gateway's internal Ethernet backplane, so the WAN appears as an ordinary interface in the Junos configuration.
