LSI SAS9211-8i 8-Port SAS/SATA HBA – P20 IT Mode
This listing is for one genuine LSI SAS9211-8i 8-port HBA configured for direct-drive use with ZFS, TrueNAS, Unraid, Proxmox, Linux, and other storage platforms.
These are new / unused cards that were never placed into production service. They have been professionally configured, firmware-updated, and fully tested before sale.
Two cards are available. The PCB layout and appearance may vary slightly between the two units, but both are genuine SAS9211-8i / SAS2008-based controllers and are configured and tested to the same specifications.

This is a complete firmware configuration with both legacy BIOS and UEFI support.

2x Cable Matters SFF-8087 to 4x SATA forward breakout cables
The included breakout cables allow connection of up to 8 SATA drives directly from the controller.

Each controller has been individually tested before listing.
Testing included:
Controller detection and firmware verification
SAS address verification
Both SFF-8087 ports tested
SATA drives detected directly through the HBA
ZFS mirror created using test drives
Multi-gigabyte read/write testing completed
ZFS pool remained ONLINE
0 read errors
0 write errors
0 checksum errors
The cards were tested in true IT-mode operation with drives presented directly to the operating system.
