Powers on and boots to Windows 11 Home. Keyboard, trackpad, Wi-Fi, and display worked in testing.
Cosmetic / mechanical issues (all visible in photos):
- Hinge cover is gone. Hinges and internal plastic are exposed.
- Broken / cracked plastics at both hinge ends.
- Lid, palmrest, and bottom have heavy scratches and scuffs.
- Bezel wear below the screen.
- Keyboard rash on the LCD — marks visible on a dark screen (photo included). Display still works at 1920×1080.
About the screen photos: photographing an LCD with an iPhone often adds wavy lines, banding, rainbow shimmer, or moiré that are not on the panel. Those patterns are camera artifacts. The screen itself does not have those wavy lines. The actual display issue to review is the keyboard rash shown on the dark-screen photo.
Hinges currently hold the lid up in the photos, but this is not a clean, tight chassis. Treat it as a working-but-beaten daily driver or a candidate to add RAM in the empty SODIMM slot.
