These are former school iPads that are fully unlocked with no MDM whatsoever.
Their biggest issue is that they have cracks in the screens. I took photos of each crack.
They have Deer Valley Unified School District engravings on the back.
They are fully functional otherwise. The touchscreens work, speakers work, and all buttons work. One of them has a little bit of gunk in the speaker screen but it is otherwise functional.
Batteries hold a charge. They have not been stress-tested for total health, but they don’t rapidly decline.
