Lot of 4 x 160GB 2.5" SATA Laptop HDD WD Seagate Toshiba - All Tested Healthy
Price: IL $45.00

Four 2.5-inch SATA laptop hard drives, 160 GB each, 640 GB total. All four were pulled from working laptops, tested individually, and securely wiped. Every one reports SMART health GOOD - 0 reallocated sectors, 0 current pending sectors, 0 offline uncorrectable sectors. The CrystalDiskInfo screenshot for each drive is included in the photos so you can check every figure below for yourself.

WHAT IS IN THE LOT, drive by drive - including the things I would want to know before buying:

1. Seagate Momentus 5400.5 ST9160310AS - 160 GB, SATA II, 5400 RPM, 9.5 mm. 678 power-on hours and 558 power cycles. That is remarkably low for a drive of this age and makes this the pick of the four.

2. Toshiba MK1655GSX (HDD2H25) - 160 GB, SATA II, 5400 RPM, 9.5 mm, made in the Philippines. 7,424 power-on hours, 1,635 power cycles. Cosmetically it shows its age: there is adhesive and label residue on the top cover, clearly visible in the photo. Surface only, no effect on function.

3. Seagate Momentus 5400.3 ST9160821AS - 160 GB, 5400 RPM, 9.5 mm, HP 418267-002, dated 2008. 2,993 power-on hours, 860 power cycles. Two honest notes: this is a SATA I (1.5 Gb/s) drive, so it is slower than the others and suits a legacy machine; and its load/unload cycle count is high at 133,725, normalised 34. That is head-parking wear rather than a failure, but you should know it.

4. WD Scorpio Blue WD1600BEVT-88ZCT0 - 160 GB, SATA 3.0 Gb/s, 5400 RPM, 9.5 mm, Lenovo LI P/N 43N8107, made in Thailand, dated 11 NOV 2008. 21,406 power-on hours and 1,631 power cycles. This is a high-hours drive and I am not going to soften that - but its error counters are all zero and health reads Good.

WHO THIS IS FOR: spares for older laptops, a test bench, refurb stock, or anyone who needs several known-good small drives without paying individually. 160 GB is modest by modern standards, which is exactly why four tested drives cost less here than one new one.

WHAT THIS IS NOT: these are used mechanical drives between 10 and 18 years old. They are tested and healthy today, and I have shown you each readout rather than just asserting it, but treat them as spares and not as storage for anything you cannot afford to lose.

All four ship together in one padded, antistatic-wrapped parcel. Free worldwide shipping from Tel Aviv, Israel, with tracking. Bare drives only - no caddies, mounting screws, cables, adapters or software. Questions before you buy are very welcome.
