The BCR901 is a USB self-powered simplex card scanner which is fully TWAINcompliant and works with hundreds of other scanning applications, includingall electronic healthcare and medical practice management systems whichsupport TWAIN. It is used industry wide to scan medical insurance cards,driver licenses, laminated IDs, photos, etc. Scan-ID LITE The included Scan-IDLITE software is a powerful card management system which enables you to scanand manage medical cards, licenses, and other IDs. The system scans andcreates a searchable (and exportable) database of the scanned cards. Cardinformation is manually keyed in. ScanToFile The included ScanToFileapplication allows you to scan cards and automatically save the imagesdirectly to PDF, JPEG, or TIFF files on your PC. Vertical or HorizontalScanner Mount This versatile scanner can be mounted and used vertically orhorizontally.
