OEM Memory modulesThese are the same modules installed by Dell at the time of manufacture, so compatibility is ensured. After installing and allowing the system to update, the machine performs as it would if the factory had built it that way. Replacing all the RAM with the fastest allowed would have given a slight boost, but the XPS 8700 is already a fast machine and I couldn't justify the added cost.
