It hurts me to list my laptop, but my company provides me with one and I am not allowed to use this one. This laptop powered me through my bachelor's and master's in aerospace engineering so it is plenty capable. I went overkill when I bought this for $3000 a few years back:

It is a fantastic laptop that has a fun design; I wish they never discontinued it. I really like being able to detach and reconfigure it to watch shows or use it as a second display. I don't have a surface pen but it is compatible with one.
