Very clean vintage condition for its age. Drive was powered on and the spindle motor was verified to engage and spin properly. No floppy disk was available for a full read/write test, so data reading/writing has not been verified. Interior, circuit boards, mechanism and faceplate appear exceptionally clean with very little visible dust or oxidation. Please see all photos for exact cosmetic condition.

Vintage Newtronics / Mitsumi D509V3 5.25-inch floppy disk drive, manufactured in Japan.
This is an exceptionally clean example internally and externally. The drive was powered on for testing and the spindle motor engages and spins as expected. A disk read/write test was not performed, so functionality beyond the observed motor operation is not guaranteed.
