When this device was released, the Apple iOS App Store had Gauntlet Connect app which allowed iOS devices to communicate with the Gauntlet drive. This app is NO LONGER in the app store. Not sure if the Gauntlet app is still available for android or Amazon Kindle fire either.
Device can still be used via WiFi with Windows or Mac laptops/desktops/tablets.
