About this Build:I have several Windows XP builds that I custom-build and sell, with this being one of the higher-end builds. The FX 3800 video card, combined with a 128 GB solid state hard drive and a Core2Quad Q9500 CPU provides a machine capable of playing most DX8 and DX9-era games. This card has the same chip as the GeForce GTX 260 and is installed and functions as such. The GTX 2xx line of cards is highly regarded in the Windows XP retro gaming community for its solid performance and compatibility with older games.
OS/Software:The operating system is Windows XP Professional, SP3. Installed software includes .net 2.0, 3.0, and 3.5 framework, Visual C++ 2005, 2008, and 2010 Redistributables, VLC media player, Google Chrome v49 and Firefox v52.9 ESR. All drivers are installed, and the machine is completely ready to go right out of the box.
