Up for buy it now is a new open box IBM Model M 1393690/1393691 keyboard with SDL Soarer\'s USB converter cable so that you have the added feature of adding macros, layers, and key remapping while also converting to USB. The keycaps came from the factory in this Sabre configuration which is rather rare to have on an SSK and the part numbers and documentation for such a keyboard was relatively unknown until relatively as there are only a few known in the wild, let alone new in box ones. You can see the box has a part number that is off by one compared to the keyboard, but that the ID/Serial Number match (meaning that is indeed the original box for it) which is kind of interesting. I am unaware of other IBM models that have a different part number on the outside of the box compared to what is inside. The keyboard itself feels sold and I do not believe that there are a significant number of internal plastic rivets that have come off, but I can open it up and take a picture if potential buyers request that I do this.
I am fairly certain that the only 1393691 that was on maybe 6 months ago sold for about this price due to the relative rarity and just few known examples, let alone new in box ones. If it doesn\'t sell at the initial buy it now price, I will likely reduce the price every so often until it does.
