This is a pretty good-looking Thinkpad T41, from 2003. It has a 1024 x 768 14" screen, which looks great! I acquired the laptop 7 or 8 yrs ago on my crazy quest at that time for laptops with parallel ports (for my own business model). After seeing a couple months of good use in late '17 and early 2018, it's been sitting quietly on my shelf with many others. The screen's hinges are nice and tight, as is typical for these Thinkpads. It has Windows XP Professional (sp3) installed, with a COA sticker. It has a DVD-ROM, a 30 BG Hitachi hard drive, and 512 MB of RAM. Everything functions well as far as I can tell. It has Wireless built in and ready to go (see pic). This laptop should be great for retro gaming, or writing (great keyboard, TALL screen), or programming (same reasons)or any geeky engineering things (e.g. stepper motor control) made possible by the presence of a parallel port! The battery works and charges to 100%, but no guarantees as to how long it actually lasts. The laptop will ship with a genuine IBM charger, which also works great. I added most or all necessary drivers, and there's a folder (in the C directory) with these and possibly other drivers. Note: I'm shipping USPS Ground Advantage as it's apparently required due to the lithium ion batteries.
