Nikon Super CoolScan 4000 ED Photo, Slide & Film Scanner - TESTED & WORKING
Price: US $290.00

Nikon Super Coolscan 4000 ED film scanner, SA-21 Strip Film Adapter, MA-20 Slide Mount Adapter, FH-3 Strip Film Holder, Power Cord, firewire cable, firewire 400 to firewire 800 adapter, original instruction manual.

With an optical resolution of 4,000 x 4,000 DPI, a 14-bit per channel color depth, and a precision CCD image sensor, this scanner produces high-quality digital images of slides and negatives.

Perfect cost-effective solution to scan 35mm slide and film. The scanner will literally pay for itself by allowing you to digitally scan very high quality images from the comfort of your home or studio. I am the original owner and have used this scanner with care and without issue.

As you can see from the photo of the INSIDE of the scanner, it has been kept free from dust and debris. There is one small surface scratch on the very bottom of the casing, as indicated in the photo. This scanner can be adapted further to even the most modern computers with USB C interfaces with various dongles. I've recently tested SilverFast 9 software with the scanner on my 14 inch MacBook Pro M1 Max and have included a demo scan with the SilverFast watermark to show the scanner is in working order and that I was able to scan without issue.

This is a NO-RESERVE listing. Buy-it-now price is based on recent comparable sales from the last few weeks, not based on random advertisements completely detached from reality. Buyer pays CALCULATED SHIPPING as computed by based on estimated size and weight, not an inflated shipping cost that really is just a pumped up price for the item.

Note: In my opinion, who you buy from is as important as what you buy. Check my history on and check the response to buy with confidence.

[UPDATE: I have received questions about the FireWire plug. I currently use the scanner with an M1 Mac using the FireWire plug connected to 2 additional dongles: (1) a FireWire to Thunderbolt dongle and (2) a thunderbolt to USB-C dongle. In addition to the FireWire cable and the adapter in the listing, I will include the two dongles that get the scanner to a USB-C connection FREE OF CHARGE to anyone who exercises the BUY IT NOW option].
