The PCIe PCI Express to SATA3.0 2-Port SATA III Expansion Controller Adapter Card by TROTWEL BLUE is a durable and reliable external interface card that allows for the addition of two SATA III ports to a computer. With a maximum data rate of 6Gbps, this adapter card is compatible with PCI Express ports and includes both full and half-height brackets and two SATA connecting cables for easy installation. Made of a combination of plastic and metal, this adapter card is a reliable and efficient solution for expanding storage capabilities in a computer system. Please check your motherboard specs. My MB would disable the onboard 0 and 1 SATA connections if any expansion board was installed in either PCIe slots 1 or 3. I needed the 2 slot for a 5gb Ethernet adapter card. I needed 6 SATA ports. I therefor could not use this card for my intended purpose. It has a switch for making the card SATA slots bootable or non-bootable. In bootable mode, connect your bootable HHD or SSD drive to the 1 slot on the expansion card. In non-bootable mode it makes both drives available for extra storage capacity. Shipping is in the original box contained in a new padded packet.I ship to USA addresses only. I usually ship the same or next business day via a USPS shipping service.
