These genuine Raritan D2CIM-DVUSB-DVI CIM Dongles were pulled from a working environment (datacenter).
They are compatible with the Raritan Dominion KX II and KX III, as well as LX and LX II KVM's.Each dongle has been inspected, tested, and is guaranteed to function.

With built-in server identification memory, CIM retains the name assigned to the attached device, and allows connection to a crash-cart for emergency access from a local console.

Each CIM connects to the KVM ports of an individual server and delivers 'keep-alive' keyboard/mouse emulation ensuring that the server never hangs.

With a small and slim form factor, a CIM provides the added convenience of firmware upgradeability without interrupting the installed configuration.

Note: These CIM dongles have built-in DVI connectors, but each dongle includes an adapter to HDMI. DVI and HDMI are both digital connections, and use the same video signal - the only difference is the plug. These CIM dongles were deployed in a datacenter with adapters, and have been tested with a wide variety of HDMI signals from a multitude of computer systems and they work exactly the same. Also, the adapter adds some length to the video cable which is often beneficial and convenient.
