Refurbished Clean Amiga 3000 Computer w/ Keyboard

This is a good condition Amiga 3000 Computer System. The computer has been disassembled. The chassis, HD/PSU/FD chassis, plastic insulators, and top case were washed and cleaned. The motherboard and riser card were cleaned and all dust and dirt removed and all socketed IC’s were reseated.

The PSU was opened and cleaned of all dust and dirt. The fan cleaned of all dirt and dust. The capacitors were visually inspected and look good, but always a good idea to replace them sooner or later and the same for the motherboard. The PSU output tested and is still close to spec.

The floppy drive has been opened and cleaned of all dirt and dust. The heads were cleaned, head travel screw and rail were lightly lubricated. The drive ejects nice and smooth.

The Hard Drive was working. It has all the usually WorkBench software. It is divided into two partitions. There are a few applications installed. There is lots of room left on the drive if you can get it working again.

The verta battery had already been removed from the motherboard long ago. There is a little corrosion around the area.

The top case and front bezel look to be in pretty good condition. The top has a few nicks and scratches but nothing too bad. The front looks almost like new. The floppy drives eject buttons and power switch have been washed and cleaned.

This is a very low number Amiga 3000, number 641.

This system was working great. It booted from the Quantum SCSI drive with no issues. While using it to test other Amiga items, it started to become unstable. It still boots but asks for a disk. It no longer boots from the hard drive. It also no longer boots from the Floppy Drive. In Fact, I think the FD corrupts disk now. I have done some minor troubleshooting and cannot find anything physically wrong with the system. I again reseated the socketed IC’s and got it to boot from FD a couple times.

.

This system must now be sold as is in partially working condition.

The keyboard was taken apart and thoroughly cleaned. It is in really good cosmetic condition and works as it should.

A lot of work went into this computer making it "like new" as possible. Every part of was tested as most computers being sold on only show to power up or that something shows on the screen. This computer was totally refurbished except for a recap on the PSU. I don't like messing with things that are working perfectly. The hard drive will either have to be replaced or fixed and the Floppy Drive. Again, both were working fine and tested many times until it started to be unstable.

There is no warranty and I am selling as-is with no returns.

All Sales to PO Box, Hawaii, Alaska, or PR will be subject to paying exact shipping cost that will be calculated. Please ask prior to purchasing the computer.

I only use 's Global Shipping Service on International Orders. Please do not ask me to ship directly bypassing 's Global Shipping Service.

policies leave me with no choice but to mark each of my sales with a “no return” policy. This is being done to protect me against returns such as (buyer’s remorse). After using the item for days and weeks, the buyer can submit a return and is not obligated to reimburse the seller for shipping charges and I have to pay for shipping charges back. Even though it is marked a “no return, “a buyer can still submit a return if the item was not as described or the item was damaged during shipping. Also, I do not need an policy to do what is right and accept the item back if it wasn’t as described or damaged during shipping. Keep in mind, that I mainly sell vintage computers and vintage computer accessories. That said even though the box/item may not show damage, the internal mechanism may have been damaged or jarred from a rough truck and/or plane ride. I will work with ALL my customers to resolve the problem. Recently, I have had to take back items where the buyer didn’t check with mom/dad, husband/wife, or God prior to buying and did a return. forced me to take the item back. Personally, I do not think that this is an acceptable way to return items. Many of the sellers on here are just trying to provide for their families and this kind of previous return is not fair to the seller. We are not Walmart or Costco that cannot absorb these financial damages. Again, I will work with all my costumers to ensure that they are happy with the item they purchased. Thank you for your patronage.
