This unit has NO hard drive installed but DOES have its caddy and adapter. Unit has been tested to POST and boot from a period Windows CD. • Laptop has been tested to POST and boot from an assortment of AND TESTING: Laptop is in better than average condition and has no cracks or serious yellowing of the plastics, except for the Dell-optional silver palm rests which have discoloration from 23 years of palms on them. Keyboard is squishy but reasonably responsive for the age, trackpoint/trackpad and mouse buttons are in good shape.
Please note: the included 70W power supply works fine with this laptop, but the unit displays a warning suggesting a 90W power supply that you can click is a used,barebones, vintage laptop that is offered ASIS for enthusiastrebuild or collecting. It is not a modern computer and will require tinkering to findcompatiblecomponents. I am offering this unit to another enthusiast with theunderstanding that the buyer is willing toundertake responsibility for the many repair and maintenance variables that come with antique computer components including such delicate tasks as floppy drive reconditioning and capacitor replacement.
