This is from when Apple launched the Macintosh in 1984,40+ years ago, and provided potential customerswith the opportunity to 'test drive a Macintosh',meaning to take it home, test it out,and buy it or return it.
This box was used to store Mac diskettes that came with it.Obviously, only few of these were ever in circulation,and even less can be still be found today,more than 40 years later.
