I retired the Dell PowerEdge R440 this came out of and I'm parting out what I no longer have a slot for. Nothing wrong with the drive. It was scratch space in that server rather than the primary datastore, so the hours are high but the wear is low: SMART passes, the wear indicator still reads 0%, there are no media errors, and it never throttled. Securely erased with a cryptographic erase and verified zero across the entire drive.
Needs a free PCIe x8 or x16 slot. This is a datacenter card built for server airflow, so if it's going in a desktop, give it a fan.
