Full disclosure, since returns are not accepted. This drive reports a Load/Unload Cycle Count of 906,435 and a G-Sense Error Rate of 6,578. Those are head-parking and shock-event counters, not damage counters — they record how often the heads parked and how often the drive felt movement, and they are typical of a drive that spent its life in an always-on system with aggressive power management.
What matters for data integrity is the sector counts, and those are all zero: no reallocated sectors, no pending sectors, no uncorrectable sectors, no CRC errors. CrystalDiskInfo rates the drive GOOD.
Power-on hours are 27,252 across only 96 power cycles — continuous duty rather than repeated spin-ups, which is the easier life for a mechanical drive. Sold as a used drive with no manufacturer warranty. Normal handling marks may be present on the casing; the label is intact and the serial is readable.
