Split chroma & luma & audio monitor 4' video cable for Commodore 64 & 128. NOS.
Price: US $32.00
New (old stock) cable for connecting the Commodore 64 or Commodore 128 to a Commodore branded monitor with split chroma and luma and audio inputs. Nice quality cable! Also works on some 3rd party monitors which also have the split chroma & luma and audio inputs (such as the Teknika MJ-22 monitor). This cable also works on the Commodore 128D computer and the Commodore SX-64 portable computer. Approximately 4 ft. long. Has 3 RCA plugs on one end and an 8-pin DIN male connector to go to the computer. This cable does not work on the very earliest (1982) Commodore 64 computers which only had a 5-pin DIN video output. Also won't work on the Commodore VIC-20 computer. Supports split chroma and luma as well as audio. This cable can only be used with Commodore branded monitors and a few other brands which had the split chroma & luma and audio inputs. The COLOR-CODED RCA-STYLE CONNECTORS of this particular cable MATCH the COLOR-CODED split chroma & luma & audio INPUT JACKS of Commodore branded monitors. No guess-work required! This cable (even though unused New Older Stock) was manufactured in the 1980's by a corporation making monitor cables specifically for the Commodore 64 & 128 computers. This cable will not work with monitors having only one video and one audio input jack. This cable also will not work with VCRs or newer televisions.
